 Real self-defense — no magic, just jiu-jitsu

The fighting system that police forces, militaries and ordinary people choose when they want to know they are genuinely safe — in Tel Aviv and Netanya.

Why Gracie Jiu Jitsu?

The system was developed with one purpose: to let a smaller or untrained person defend themselves against an attacker who is bigger and stronger. Leverage, position and technique — not raw strength. You train with a partner who simulates real resistance in every session, so that self-defense becomes reflex.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be fit to start?

No. Fitness is built through the training. The techniques are based on leverage and timing, not raw strength.

Is it suitable for complete beginners?

Absolutely. You can join at any stage. Most people feel real confidence after two to three months of regular training.

Is jiu-jitsu suitable for women?

Yes — precisely because it does not rely on strength. A dedicated women's group runs in Tel Aviv: women only, in a supportive and protected atmosphere.

Is there self-defence training in Netanya?

Yes. Classes in Netanya on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays, for men and women. Trial class with no commitment.

What is the difference between jiu-jitsu and karate or kickboxing?

Strikes require strength and speed. Jiu-jitsu gives you control both standing and on the ground — which makes it more effective for ordinary people, even against a big, strong attacker.

How long does it take to develop real ability?

At a pace of 2-3 sessions a week, most people can handle opponents 20 kilos heavier than them after around a year.

From what age can you train?

From age 14 and up, men and women alike.

Are classes taught in English?
